Mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort visited the newly improved LZ-480 this week.
The LZ-408 Nazaret-Vuelta Ajai road, which links Nazaret with the Centro Agrotecnológico and also the main road which leads to Caleta de Famara, will be opened soon.
“It has been a long but necessary intervention to improve this road and guarantee safety, widening the road and raising it to facilitate the drainage of rainwater and also building a raoundabout at the Centro Sociocultural de Nazaret”, stated Betancort.
“Despite improving road safety and modernising the road network on Lanzaorte, we must exercise the utmost caution when driving to avoid accidents”, he added, and announced that “this week, the Ayuntamiento will put out to tender a resurfacing project worth 3 million euros which will tackle Costa Teguise, La Villa de Teguise, Guatiza, Tahiche, and Nazaret, in addition to the signage project which will start in early 2023.”
