Lanzarote will enjoy a serene, sunny Saturday, with worse weather on Sunday.
Lanzarote has seen glorious sunshine over the last few days. with a few very light showers that have scattered the island with rainbows. That forecast remains for today, with light rain a possibility and very calm and still weather.
However, the weather is expected to get worse tomorrow as Lanzarote feels the effects of a storm that has caused official weather warnings on the western Canary Islands. The highest probability of rainfall is tomorrow morning (Sunday), and winds could also be strong
Authorities have declared a state of pre-alert, although no warnings have been issued for Lanzarote yet. Pre-alert status means that the public are advised to keep an eye on weather reports.
