Mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, wishes to congratulate “everyone involved that make our village a benchmark for tourism, where every Sunday both tourists and locals choose to visit us”, and adds that “these numbers would not be possible without the good work of all the market stall vendors, commercial and restaurant staff, the taxi drivers, and municipal personnel. As well as the emergency services, Emerlan and Teguise local police.”
