A yellow wind alert has been issued for Lanzarote on the afternoon and evening of Saturday 14th February.
Spain’s weather agency, AEMET, has issued the alert from midday until midnight, predicting that north-easterly winds could reach 70 kph and that they will be at their strongest in the evening and night.
A yellow alert is the lowest level of alert, with no immediate danger to the public. However, it may not be the best night for a candlelit Valentine’s dinner on a terrace or patio.
