Yellow wind alert for Saturday on Lanzarote

A yellow wind alert has been issued for Lanzarote on the afternoon and evening of Saturday 14^th February.  

Spain’s weather agency, AEMET, has issued the alert from midday until midnight, predicting that north-easterly winds could reach 70 kph and that they will be at their strongest in the evening and night.

A yellow alert is the lowest level of alert, with no immediate danger to the public. However, it may not be the best night for a candlelit Valentine’s dinner on a terrace or patio.
