Yaiza Ayuntamiento replaces 200 rubbish bins

Last week, Yaiza Ayuntamiento announced that it has replaced damaged rubbish bins in the municipality with 200 new bins.

In a coordinated action between Yaiza Ayuntamiento and the company Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales (responsible for rubbish collection in Yaiza since June 1^st), damaged bins in the municipality have been replaced with 200 new bins.

The replacement of rubbish containers is part of the commitments signed by the contractor Valoriza, being also one of the repeated demands of residents and businesses.

Yaiza Mayor, Oscar Noda, maintains that “an essential service such as the rubbish collection service can always be improved, but in these two months the leap in quality has been noticed in the collection of waste in all the towns, and this is what residents, hotels, bars and restaurants know”.

Yaiza Cleaning Councillor, Rubén Arca, recalled that “the annual contract involves an investment of 1.7 million and includes the updating of technical resources, including new trucks, to optimise performance”.
