Woman rescued in La Graciosa

A woman was rescued yesterday after suffering a dislocated shoulder on Playa Las Conchas in La Graciosa.

After receiving a call informing that a bather had been injured at the remote beach in the north of the eighth Canary Island, firemen, Emerlan lifesavers and an ambulance were dispatched.

Firemen were first to locate the victim, providing a preliminary assessment and “emotional support”. Ambulance staff later immobilised the woman’s arm and took her to the La Graciosa health centre.
