The race will follow a route of approximately 2.9 kilometres along the El Reducto promenade, with both the start and finish located at Parque Ramírez Cerdá.

The run is scheduled to begin at 11.30am, following a warm-up session for participants at 11am.

Activities will get underway earlier, at 9am, with a programme of initiatives focused on preventing gender-based violence and raising public awareness.

An exhibition highlighting human trafficking, sexual exploitation and prostitution will also be organised, alongside an information stand run by Médicos del Mundo Lanzarote.

The programme will additionally feature Lanzarote’s 24-hour Crisis Centre for victims of sexual violence and the “Punto Violeta”, managed by the Mararía Social and Cultural Association.

Other feminist groups from across the island are also expected to be represented.
