A woman was treated for whiplash injuries yesterday after her car flipped onto its side at the bridge where the LZ-40 passes under the LZ-2 main road on the way to Puerto del Carmen.
Emergency services arrived at the scene to find that all four occupants opf the car had managed to escape from the vehicle. The driver was treated with a collar and taken to the hospital on a support stretcher. The other three occupants of the vehicle, who were the driver’s children., did not require treatment.
The car was then removed from the road with a winch.
