Last night’s high winds caused several minor incidents around the island, giving emergency services a busy time.
First, they were called to attend to a window that was about to fall into the street in C/Roque Nublo, Puerto del Carmen. Later, it was a lamp post in Punta Mujeres that threatened to fall.
In Arrecife, a car crashed into bollards at a roundabout on C/Tajaraste, and in Playa Blanca a sailing boat broke free of it’s moorings and ran aground.
