Rain is forecast from this evening on Lanzarote, as wetter weather arrives on all the the Canaries over the next few days.
The forecast by AEMET is for light rain from this evening, continuing on and off through tomorrow and the weekend. A stronger storm may arrive on Sunday evening and bring rain in “notable quantities”, as well as possible thunderstorms.
No official warnings have been issued yet.
