This morning, Canal Gestión and the Lanzarote Water Consortium have informed clients that water supplies in Yaiza, Uga, La Degollada, Puerto Calero, Mácher, Tías, Tegoyo, Haría, Punta Mujeres, Los Ancones and Máguez will be suspended until further notice.
They claim the cuts are a result of low water deposits in the supply tanks that serve these areas, and hope to return normal service throughout the day.
Pressure tests will also be carried out, resulting in low or abnormal water pressure in some areas.
Canal Gestión and the Lanzarote Water Consortium have apologised for any inconvenience caused to consumers.
