Tinajo Ayuntamiento is organising a visit to the island wineries in honour of International Women’s Day.
Tinajo’s Equality Department have organised the visit for the 25th of March, where participants will see first-hand how the island’s wines are produced. The activity is aimed at women in the Tinajo municipality and is part of an events programme that has been organised for the month of March in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
“The trip will allow us to get to know one of the island’s most renowned products better, and to enjoy the unique landscape of La Geria. It will also allow us to pay tribute to the women in our municipality, they deserve this and more and I hope they enjoy the activities in March”, stated the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín.
Registration for the visit can be made at the Casa de la Cultura or the Casa Consistorial, from Monday to Friday 8am – 3pm. You can also register by telephone or request information by calling 928840037.
Registration closed on the 10th of March.
