Tinajo’s VII Bocata food event has come to an end. The 7th edition saw 10 establishments take part with three participants winning 100 euros each and the Malpeis Brewery taking home the prize for their “El Costillote” burger.
The Bocata event is aimed at promoting establishments in Tinajo by inviting customers to try their special menu items which allows them to choose their favourite of the lot as well as enter a prize draw.
The winners of this year’s 100-euro vouchers were Lidia Rodríguez Hernández, Tobias Alejandro Domínguez Rodríguez and Beatriz Beltrán Baute.
The Mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, stated “I would like to thank all the participating establishments who have delighted us with delicious sandwiches and burgers, highlighted the quality of the products made in the municipality of Tinajo. We have a very rich gastronomy which attracts more and more visitors every year. Congratulation to the winners and I hope that all together we will enjoy this event again next year.”.
This year’s winning establishment was the Malpeis Brewery who won with their “El Costillote” burger.
