Very warm weekend ahead

Lanzarote will experience a very warm two days over the weekend, with temperatures forecast to reach highs of 31 degrees Celsius.

It seems as though Lanzarote’s “winter” period is coming to an end and the island will get a taste of whats to come in the summer this weekend, with highs of 31 degrees Celsius.

Spain’s Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecast a drop in wind as well, with expected speeds between 0 – 15 km/h, and a possible light calima on Saturday and Sunday, making it the perfect excuse to head down to one of the island’s many beaches to cool off.

Looking at next week and over the Easter period, very small chances of light rain are forecast at the time of writing, however, the coming months will be dry and warm with temperatures “higher than usual and with a decrease in rain”, according to AEMET.
