Two youths, aged 16 and 20, have been arrested in Arrecife in connection with a recent series of fires in the capital.
National police made the arrests after working closely with local police officers and using security video footage to identify the suspects, who operated on specific routes and travelled on electric scooters.
The older suspect was bailed after appearing in court while the younger one will be dealt with by the Las Palmas Juvenile prosecutors office.
