Two women rescued after getting lost in the dark

Two women were rescued on Friday night near the village of Tenésar on the Tinajo coast. The women had gone hiking without torches, strayed from the footpath and got lost.

Firemen were called to the remote seaside village, where local police gave them details of one of the phones used by the women. Using a 4×4 vehicle, the firemen located the women, who were perfectly well.

They were given torches and escorted back to the emergency vehicle.
