Two rubbish bins burned in Costa Teguise

Fire fighters were called to a rubbish bin fire in Costa Teguise this morning.

At approximately 5am this morning, the emergency services were alerted to a rubbish bin fire on the Avenida de Las Palmeras in the Trébol Apartments complex in Costa Teguise.

Upon arrival, fire fighters found one organic waste bin and one plastic waste bin were on fire, and a nearby glass recycling bin was also damaged by the fire.

They were safely extinguished, and no injuries or further property damages were reported, however, the bins will now need to be replaced at the cost of municipal funds.
