The Centres for Art, Culture and Tourism have added two new eco-efficient tour buses to the fleet to be used at Timanfaya.

The two new buses are hybrid vehicles, with the capacity to transport a maximum of 55 passengers. The new eco-efficient buses will join the CACT’s existing fleet to offer a “more modern, safe and sustainable” transport solution to be used at Timanfaya.

The director for The Centres for Art, Culture and Tourism, Ángel Vázquez, stated “We break down accessibility barriers to offer all our visitors the possibility enjoying a unique experience.”.

Updating the bus fleet cost a total of 1.9 million euros from the Canary Islands Development Fund.
