Yaiza Ayuntamiento have put out to tender the installation of two new playgrounds in Femés and Uga, with a budget of €905,000.
The Mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, this week confirmed that the Yaiza Ayuntamiento have put out to tender the installation of new playgrounds as part of their park plan in the municipality “through which we have already renovated and implemented new play areas.”
In Uga, the playground next to the school on Calle Los Volcanes will undergo works with a budget of €394,000, while the playground in Femés will undergo more extensive works requiring most of the budget at €511,000.
“There are more investments planned in parks with municipal funds, to continue our objective of providing new facilities”, stated Noda.
He stressed that “we work so that the designs of the playgrounds and their elements can be enjoyed by children of all ages in the safest and most accessible way possible.”
