Two motorists were injured after their motorbikes had collided into one another in Tías this morning.
Emergency services were alerted to a collision between two motorbikes in Tías in the early hours this morning. They received a call after approximately 1am where they would arrive at the scene to find two motorists who had varying degrees of injuries and needed medical attention.
They had collided with one another on Calle Juan Carlos 1, which is the road that runs from close to Hospiten, past Lidl and down to the Puerto del Carmen seafront.
Emergency services immediately attended to the injured motorists, one of them being a 35-year-old man who presented to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital with severe polytrauma.
The other motorists involved, a 32-year-old man, presented to the hospital with only minor injuries.
