A 48-year-old man was rushed to hospital yesterday after nearly drowning in Playa Blanca.
The incident took place at around 2 pm on the Playa Dorada beach when a lifeguard rescued the man from the sea.
The lifeguard applied CPR, and paramedics took over after two ambulances arrived on the scene. Ther man was then taken to the hospital in Arrecife.
