Long tailbacks were experienced on the main LZ-2 road through Playa Honda towards Arrecife yesterday after a collision that involved four vehicles.
The incident took place at 2.30 in the afternoon, and ta woman and two men were injured, although not seriously, and taken to hospital.
Three more people were more seriously injured around half an hour later near the Guatiza roundabout, in a collision involving a bus and two cars.
Firemen had to remove a 29-year-old woman with a fractured leg from her vehicle, and she and two men aged 30 and 80 were taken to the hospital in Arrecife.
