Two-car blaze in Playa Blanca

Firefighters extinguished a fire that affected two vehicles in Playa Blanca on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at around 4 am on Calle Playa de la Cruz and when emergency services arrived the cars were fully ablaze. Firefighters extinguished the fire with a combination of water and foam. 

Witnesses have claimed that the cars caught fire simultaneously with a gap between them, raising suspicions that the fire may have been deliberate.
