The Canarian Supreme Court has ordered the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, to inform it of the situation regarding the demolition process of one of Costa Teguise’s abandoned hotels within thirty days.
In July last year, the Canarian Supreme Court orderd the Teguise Ayuntamiento to present a plan of action within two months for the abandoned hotel on plot 242-B.
The “skeleton hotel” on plot 242-B, located at the eastern end of the Avenida de las Palmeras, was announced to be demolished by Promontoria Coliseum Real Estate S.L.U back in November last year.
The new court ruling, handed down last week, comes in response to an injunction issued last December to the company in charge of the demolition stating that the project presented had “various deficiencies”, after which the company were granted two months to rectify the project.
