Emerlan rescued two foreign tourists from the sea yesterday, after they were reported as being in difficulties.
Just before 10 am on Friday, the emergency services received a call informing them that two swimmers were in trouble outside the cordon floats at Playa Grande in Puerto del Carmen.
An Emerlan rescue vessel rapidly reached the scene and the bathers, men aged 30 and 60, were rescued and taken to the harbour at Puerto del Carmen.
