Tourist rescued after fall at Volcán de La Corona

A 78-year-old tourist has been taken to the hospital after suffering a fall while hiking in the Volcán de La Corona.

At approximately noon on Thursday, the emergency services were alerted to a 78-year-old tourist that had suffered a fall while hiking in the Volcán de La Corona.

Upon arrival, the fire fighters and ambulance staff found that the 78-year-old woman had suffered a head injured as a result of the fall.

The staff attended the head wound before transferring the hiker to an ambulance for further treatment.
