Tourist arrested for car vandalism in Costa Teguise

A 26-year-old tourist was arrested on Wednesday after damaging various cars in Costa Teguise.

The incident took place after midnight on Calle Chafari, when a drunken tourist was reported as having smashed the windows and damaged the wing mirrors of a number of cars.

The young man was also hammering on doors and shouting.

Officers from the nearby Guardía Civíl barracks arrived and arrested the man, who is reported to have been caught on security videos.
