Tinajo will turn on its Christmas lights at 7 pm on Saturday, 5th December.
The town will open its Christmas belén at the same time, and there will be performances by the municipal choir and the local music school.
The lights of Tinajo are perhaps the most spectacular on the island, usually with an amazing display installed at the roundabout at the top of the town. In previous years, motorists arriving along the LZ-20 from Tiagua have been greeted by a hot air balloon, a huge Christmas tree, a big wheel and a sailing ship with a giant snowman on board.
