Tías restaurants have received a rating of 69.14 out of 100 in a survey carried out by the Social Heroes project of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Bars and cafés in Tías received an average rating of 55.85 out of 100.
32 restaurants and 28 bars were included in the survey, which aims to improve the offer of food and drink in Lanzarote’s most important tourist area. The survey offers suggestions for improvements in the area of menu contents and range of drinks, technical service methods, quality/price relationship and waste management, all of which will be addressed in future workshops.
The project has also presented a calendar of seasonal products in Tías, based on interviews with over 100 professionals.
