The Tías Ayuntamiento have informed residents and tourists that there will be temporary road closures tonight (Friday January 27th) in the municipality due to the 2nd La Candelaria Night Race.
Between the hours of 7 – 11pm tonight, the Avenida Alcalde Florencio Suarez will be closed to traffic from the Ferreteria roundabout to the Sociedad de Tías roundabout. Due to the road closure the Tías Centro (Lines 34 and 60) and the Ferretería de Tías (Lines 34 and 60) will be closed.
Between the hours of 8 – 10pm, the Avenida Alcalde Florencio Suarez will be closed to traffic from the Iguaden roundabout to the Sociedad de Tías roundabout. The HiperDino carpark can be accessed through Calle Aulaga and the taxi rank on the Avenida Central will be moved to Calle Aulaga.
Between the hours of 8.45 – 9.30pm, the camino Los Fajardos, camino Los Lirios (from the camino Las Claras to the Carretera Tías-San Bartolomé), camino La Candelaria, camino Vistas de Tías and camino Las Claras Will be closed to traffic. Access to the Centro de Salud de Tías will be possible via the Avenida Alcalde Florencio Suarez from the La Casona roundabout.
Between the hours of 8.30 and 9.30pm the Gabriel Díaz, Las Claras, Instituto de Tías and Los Lirios bus stops (Line 34) will be closed.
