Tías Ayuntamiento have announced that this year’s Christmas light switch-on will take place this Friday at the San Antonio church.
Tías Ayuntamiento will hold the official Christmas light switch-on this Friday at 7pm at the San Antonio church where the belén will also be inaugurated.
A total of 3,000 strings of lights, 1,800 garlands, 100 decorations on lampposts, 500 metres of LED strips, Christmas trees and various decorative details, all integrated into 120,000 energy-saving LED bulbs, will be illuminated in the municipality.
The switch-on will be accompanied by performances from the Escuela Municipal de Folclore de Tías and the Coral de San Ginés. That same evening the prizes for the Black Week and Christmas Window Dressing campaigns will be awarded.
