The island recorded three car crashes over Thursday and Friday this week.
At 8am on Thursday this week, the emergency services were alerted to a crash on the LZ-67 at the entrance to El Cuchillo. Upon arrival the emergency services found the car on its side off the road and those involved in the crash were attended to by ambulance staff.
Later that night in Costa Teguise, the emergency services received an alert to a car crash involving four vehicles on the Avenida del Mar. Upon arrival the emergency services found that only one of the people involved had suffered an injury.
At midnight on Friday, December 22nd, the emergency services were alerted to a driver that had crashed into a lamppost and knocked it down in La Santa. Upon arrival the emergency services found that the driver and sole occupant of the car was uninjured.
