Tent left behind after camping in protected area in Lanzarote

The Cabildo have published a photograph of an abandoned tent in a protected area of Lanzarote and denounced the action.

In the post, the Cabildo’s environmental team denounced the discovery of an abandoned tent along with an empty packet of cigarettes, a metal can and underwear in a protected area of Lanzarote. The tent was found by the team on May 11^th at 10:30am.

On X they wrote, “An unauthorized camping in a Parque Natural? Well, on top of that we abandoned the tent and some of our rubbish” and called for some “environmental education”.
