Teguise food fair ready to go this weekend

The 11^th Saborea Food Festival in Teguise, which will take place over the coming weekend, was presented yesterday. The event has become one of the most eagerly awaited weekends of the year, a celebration of Lanzarote’s commitment to fine food products and preparation.

Organisers expect over 40,000 visitors to the fair on Saturday 23^rd and Sunday 24^th of November, which will feature 120 stalls including 17 bodegas and 90 restaurants. 

There will be workshops for artisan bread, cocktails, Canarian food and burgers, and several top-ranking Spanish chefs will be attending the festival.

Visitors will be able to buy tickets to exchange for food and drink, as in previous years, but a cashless rechargeable bracelet system will also be available.
