Congratulations to Lanzarote Theatre School, who presented their terrific production of the ABBA musical Mamma Mia! At Tias’s theatre last night.
There were songs, laughter, dancing and plenty of fun on offer, and some genuine talent from children of all ages. Older cast members impressed not just by keeping the show on the road, but also managing a flock of smaller children.
Recognition should also go to Aimee-Louise,, who directed the whole show; the parents and supporters who made sure the event could happen and the Ayuntamiento of Tias, who provided the fantastic venue and whose Mayor and Culture councillor took time to attend the event.
All the classic ABBA hits were performed, by talented soloists and ensembles, and we’re already looking forward to the LTS’s next production.
