Forecasts by the Canary Islands Statistics Institute (ISTAC) show that summer tourism on Lanzarote is expected to be similar to last year, despite a decline in German visitors.

ISTAC forecast that figures will be similar to last summer despite a decline in German visitors, mainly due to an increase of visitors from the United Kingdom.

An increase in UK visitors should cover the decrease in German visitors. Additionally, an increase in national tourism will also help to offset the decline in German visitors.

As for other markets, the study forecasts that they will remain relatively unchanged compared to last year.
