Solar panel batteries catch fire in home in Tías

Fire fighters were called to a home in Tías last night, after reports of solar panel batteries catching fire.

At approximately 9:20pm last night, the emergency services were alerted to a solar panel battery fire at a home in Tías.

Upon arrival, fire fighters found the battery room and fire. According to reports, the home was flooded with smoke.

The fire was safely extinguished, and the home was ventilated. No injuries were reported.
