Seven of Lanzarote’s local wineries are showcasing their quality wines in the fourth edition of the prestigious Barcelona Wine Week fair.

The Barcelona Wine Week is a celebration of wines from around the world. This year the wine week has brought 1,266 wineries together across two halls with approximately 24,000 professionals in the wine sector to try and discuss the wines.

Lanzarote wineries attending the event include Bodegas Los Bermejos, La Geria, Vulcano, El Grifo, Erupción, Titerok-Akaet and Althay.

Additionally, 21 wineries from the rest of the Canary Islands are also taking part, they include Bodegas El Lomo, Piedra Fluida, Linaje del Pago and Atrevino (PDO Canary Islands); Bodegas Arautava, Tafuriaste, Vinos Atlante, 300 Líos Volcanic Grapes and Chivita (PDO Valle de La Orotava); Bodega Montoro and Vino Niray (PDO La Gomera), Vinos Vega Norte, Tendal and Mil7ochentaynueve (PDO La Palma); Ocampo, Winery Burgman Tenerife, Loher (PDO Tacoronte-Acentejo); Viña Gómez, Los Loros, Bodega Hermanos Mesa (PDO Valle de Güímar); and Vento (PDO Abona).
