A stunning nativity scene made from sand has been completed and unveiled at Playa del Reducto in Arrecife and will remain there until January 6th.
Artists Sergi Ramírez and Montserrat Cuest were tasked with the challenge of bringing the nativity scene to life using sand and features parts of Arrecife including the Puente de las Bolas bridge and the San Ginés church tower.
Mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, stated that the nativity scene “adds quality to the capital and an additional tourist attraction in 2023, the year which Arrecife commemorates the 225th anniversary of the founding of the municipality.”.
