Spain’s President, Pedro Sánchez, will spend Easter holidays on Lanzarote with his family once again, it has been revealed.
Sánchez will fly to the island following an official visit to China, and is likely to stay in the Palace at Las Maretas (The King’s House), near Costa Teguise. It will be his second time on the island in recent weeks, following the Spanish/Portuguese summit at Jameos del Agua earlier this month
Sánchez has holidayed on Lanzarote four times previously, showing a fondness for the island that is shared by his predecessor and Spain’s previous socialist president, José Luís Rodríguez Zapatero, who holidayed regularly on Lanzarote and has since purchased a property in Famara.
