Salsa fans are in for a treat on the 9th of August as three of the biggest names in the genre arrive at the Agramar complex in Arrecife for Lanzarote en Salsa.
The headliners are Colombian legends Grupo Niche, whose Cali Pachanguero has become an anthem for the city of Cali. They’ll be supported by Andy Montañez, who was the lead singer for El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and the Venezuelan group Dimensión Latina before launching a successful solo career that earned him the nickname “The Godfather of Salsa”.
Also on the bill is the veteran singer and whistler José Alberto “El Canario”, a uniquely talented Dominican singer who launched his career with the New York band Tipica ‘73.
Rounding off the bill is the orchestra of Iván Cacú, a Tenerife-based salsero and timbale player.
Tickets start at €35 and are available at tomaticket.es
