The remodelling work that’s currently underway at the Plaza Pedro Alcántara in Arrecife is continuing at a good pace and should be completed soon.

The once deteriorated space will soon be completely remodelled and brand new, a space where residents can sit in the shade with brand new urban furniture, garden areas to brighten the space and rainwater channels to stop flooding.
The Arrecife Ayuntamiento continue with their Public Infrastructure Improvement Plan this month with the completion of the remodelling work at the Plaza to come soon. “Plaza Pedro Alcántara is the clearest example of the deterioration that the city have suffered, which we have put right. We will have a public square that can be enjoyed by residents, with rainwater channels to stop flooding that will also allow us to use the water for the gardens”, Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Perez, added.
