Canarian President Fernando Clavijo has announced that the radiotherapy facilities at the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital should be up and running by ¨January 2024”.
Clavijo made the announcement during a recent visit to the new Cardiology/Hemodynamic Unit at the hospital, and the forecast was confirmed by hospital director Pablo Eguia.
The radiotherapy bunker will greatly extend the services offered by the Radiotherapeutic Oncology Department at the hospital, which was opened last June and is already attending patients who would otherwise have to fly to Gran Canaria.
