Playa Blanca Christmas Walk Returns for 2025

The season of goodwill is upon us, and what better way to embrace it than by joining the Playa Blanca Christmas Walk?

The event, in support of the 1st Lanzarote Scouts, will set off on Sunday 14th December 2025. Participants are asked to gather at 11:00 am at the car park next to the Gran Tagoro Hotel, in front of Playa Los Coloradas. The walk will begin promptly at 11:30 am.

This year’s festive stroll covers a scenic 7 km route, culminating at the Chiringuito Bar Tropical. Along the way, walkers will stop at five fantastic venues, each offering a complimentary glass of wine, with a couple also providing tasty snacks to keep energy levels high.

Participation is priced at €20 per person, which includes an exclusive event T-shirt (available in sizes S to XXXL, though stock is limited) and a few surprise goodies. All proceeds will be donated directly to the 1st Lanzarote Scouts, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the local council.

In the spirit of Christmas, participants are also encouraged to bring a little extra joy. Organisers are collecting donations for:

• Pequeños Valientes (children with cancer in hospital): New toys for ages 0–2 years, or board/card games for teenagers. (Please, no fluffy toys).
• Independent Feeders: Cat food.
• Families in Need: Nappies (size 0), shampoo, soap, toiletries, and sanitary pads.

A reminder that all walkers must wear the official Christmas Walk T-shirt during the event. This helps staff identify participants and proudly promotes the event’s amazing sponsors.
