Playa Blanca beach cleanup next month

Yaiza Ayuntamiento, Pura Vida Diving and Kayak Lanzarote have organised another beach cleanup in Playa Blanca, this time on Saturday May 4^th at Playa Flamingo.

In another edition of the beach cleanup, volunteers will take on Playa Flamingo on Saturday May 4^th at 10am.

Yaiza Mayor, Óscar Noda publicly thanks “all the volunteers and entities that have been joining efforts during the last seven years to maintain and consolidate this gesture to raise awareness about the need to take care of the natural environment and one of our most beautiful and precious resources such as the sea and its surroundings”.

Divers only need to provide their certification as the equipment is provided by the Pura Vida Diving company, while for land volunteers, registration is sufficient. The day will begin with Yoga on the beach at 8:30am with Alba Balada. There will be snacks for all volunteers after the cleanup at noon.
