Two more boats containing 81 migrants have been intercepted off Lanzarote’s coasts this morning.
A search was set in motion for the pateras after reports of their departure from the African coast were received by emergency services. The boats set off just before the arrival of the adverse weather conditions caused by the passage of tropical storm Hermine.
