Over 700,000 airport travellers recorded in April

This April the Lanzarote airport recorded over 700,000 travellers for the first time in the month of April, 2.2% more than the same month last year.

Last month, Lanzarote’s airport recorded a total of 708,678 airport travellers which is the first time more than 700,000 travellers have been recorded in the month of April.

In total, thought the Canary Islands’ airport there was a total of over 4.2 million travellers in April, an increase of 4% compared to the same month last year.

Of the 4.2 million travellers, 1.7 million took domestic routes (a 4.4% increase compared to April 2023) and 2.4 million took international routes (a 4% increase.)

So far this year, Canarian airports have registered a total of 17.8 million passengers which is 10% more than the same period last year (6.4 million taking domestic routes and 11.2 million taking international routes.)
