Over 200,000 cruise passengers arrive in Arrecife

Arrecife received over 200,000 cruise passengers from January and March this year, 23% more than the same period last year.

According to data provided by the Las Palmas Port Authority, Arrecife received 202,121 cruise passengers from January to March this year, a 23% increase compared to last year.

Additionally, the Los Mármoles port saw a 14.19% increase in traffic and received 500,203 tonnes of cargo.

In total, the ports managed by the Las Palmas Port Authority recorded a total of 8.5 million tonnes of cargo, a 12% increase.

By ports, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria recorded an increase of 12.06% (7.3 million tonnes) and Puerto del Rosario recorded an increase of 21.17% (420,685 tonnes).
