Number of crimes rise by 7.4% in the first trimester on Lanzarote

There has been 1,805 reported crimes on Lanzarote in the first trimester of 2024, an increase of 7.4%.

The Spanish Government have released the crime statistics for the first trimester of 2024. Lanzarote has recorded 1,805 reported crimes in this period, of which 651 were reported in Arrecife, 190 in Teguise and 335 in Tias.

There is no detailed information regarding the other municipalities on Lanzarote as the report only breaks down the crimes in municipalities with over 20,000 residents.
