La vida imita al arte

The International Museum of Contemporary Art (MIAC) is hosting the new exhibition Life Imitates Art, by artist Cristóbal Tabares, a proposal that invites reflection on the relationship between artistic creation and everyday life. Tabares explores how everyday images, gestures, and symbols are transformed into artistic material, blurring the boundaries between the real and the represented.

The exhibition will open on Wednesday, November 26th, at 7:00 p.m., an event open to the public that will turn the MIAC into a space for dialogue between art and experience.

THEATRE

Lady, Lady, Lady

Lady, Lady, Lady is an intimate monologue starring Lola Rodríguez, directed by Pedro Ayose and written by Sara García Pereda, selected as part of the 2025 Call for Cultural Projects by the Lanzarote Centers for Art, Culture, and Tourism.

Through the voice of its protagonist, the story unfolds of a Canarian woman who tries to reconcile herself with her past, navigating family secrets, inherited silences, and an intense search for identity. Her inner journey explores fear, fragility, self-imposed demands, and loneliness, turning personal experience into a poetic reflection on humanity.

The play will premiere on Friday, November 28th, at 8:00 p.m., at the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium.
